Language
The official language of the meeting is English. There will be no translation of lectures.
Industrial exhibition
The industrial exhibition is located at the Ground floor of the Congress and
exhibition centre Alfãndega.
Opening hours are:

Coffee and lunch breaks
Coffee and biscuits will be served free of charge during the official coffee breaks in the industrial exhibition.
A café will be open from 08.00-19.00 h on the ground level of the Alfãndega.
Lunch will be handed out at the lunch-workshop rooms before the lunch-workshops
and in the exhibition hall.
Poster exhibition
The poster exhibition is located on level -1 of the congress centre, called “Furnas”. All posters should be placed on the relevant poster board. Posters may be set-up on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, 16.00-18.00 h and Wednesday,
May 21, 2008, 08.00-09.30 h.
Posters should be removed Saturday, May 24, 2008, 14.00-16.00 h. Posters not removed at this time will be discarded. Posters and other material can not be sent to your home address after the conference.
The Poster party will take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, 18.30-19.30 h in the poster exhibition area (at least one author must be present at the poster for discussion/questions!)
Speakers’ information and media-check
The media check is located on the 2nd floor between room D. Luis and D. María. You are kindly requested to hand in the digital file containing your presentation (PowerPoint
only!) in the speaker-ready-room at least 2 hours prior to your session.
Presentations can be reviewed in the speaker-ready-room where technicians will be at your disposal. Personal laptops must not be used for presentations in the lecture halls.
Speakers are kindly requested to follow the instructions of the chairperson and strictly keep to the time limit of their presentation.
Welcome Desk
Upon arrival at Porto‘s airport Sá Carneiro you will find a Welcome Desk in the arrival hall (where you pick up your luggage). Our hostesses will be glad to help you with information about Porto, hotels and how to get into the city.

A bus transfer to the Alfãndega will be offered from the following hotels:
Sheraton, Porto Palácio, Bessa, Le Meridien Park Atlantic, Fénix, Ipanema Porto, Ipanema Park, AC Porto
Please check at the hotels for the specific transfer hours.
